July 25, 2014 - Lunch -- the hard way

When I program, I'm sure not a slacker,
And with Fred, I had found a great backer.
When I went with his hunch,
Good ol' Fred bought me lunch.
He's a brotha mixed in with the crackers.

July 24, 2014 - How'd you get the vendor guy to go along with it?

When we moved the site back to our city,
A decision was made some call gritty.
"Move by Engineer's car?"
That was quicker by far.
'Twas much faster than "Move by Committee."

July 23, 2014 - At least the data center stayed high and dry

Here's a story I'm telling you, sonny.
I sure think that it's really quite funny.
There's a bank, I'll explain,
Where the guy made it rain
And it didn't involve stacks of money.

July 22, 2014 - Sounds like a training issue

I don't want to come off as so mean.
Something stranger I don't think I've seen.
There's a user there who
Has got nary a clue
On a PC without any screen.

Helping her was the trainer's main goal.
"What's the username?" He asked that soul.
Here's a comment from me:
Press the "Windows flag" key.
That's the key that's right next to "Ctrl".

July 21, 2014 - My, what an optimistic view of users you have!

As our XP support had eXPired,
We eXPected folks did what's desired.
Did that eXPedite things?
To some, XP still clings.
EXPert ousting of bricks is required.
