October 15 - 19, 2012

October 19, 2012 - Remember, only 13 more shopping days left until...

This Control Data's feature unwanted.
Operators, they secretly taunted.
Since that system was bought,
Those eyes never were caught.
Who'd believe a computer was haunted?

October 18, 2012 - Aha!

There’s a downloading bug, we’re aware.
Is the firewall what’s making him swear?
Windows 7? I bet
That the download he’d get
If his box wouldn’t sleep like a bear.

October 17, 2012 - Mmm! Baked Apple! No, wait...

For a freelancer, MacBook's supplied.
Toast an Apple? His partner sure tried.

Not to bake it when you want it fried.

October 16, 2012 - A little knowledge is, well, a pain

Move that box to Tier 4 is her plan.
Though her logic I can't understand,
That idea sure rocks!
Let's be moving this box
Just as far from this boss as we can!

October 15, 2012 - If I just keep asking, maybe it'll work

"Won't my document print?" "Printer's broke!"
"It worked earlier!" "Nope. Printer's broke."
"It was working!" "I know!
That's two hours ago."
"Won't my document print?" "Printer's broke!"

Since then, I’ve won a limerick contest run by world famous movie critic Roger Ebert. another in the “Annals of Improbable Research” – home of the Ig Nobel Price, had a feature run in the Greensboro News and Record and had four rhymes included in ComputerWorld’s “Best of Shark Tank” document, all for writing limericks. As the Grateful Dead album name says, “What a long, strange trip it’s been…”
