On their website, a problem still lurks
We must solve it, or we'll look like jerks.
We replaced code they wrote.
Now, in Redmond, they gloat:
"You know, Microsoft code really works!"
I originally wrote this - someone used the same
pun before I had a chance to post it...
"That darned site keeps on crashing," they gasp.
Their solution is within our grasp.
Use the Microsoft code!
The developers showed
Their replacement's a pain in the .asp.
“All our saves are not saving!” they’re hintin’.
I observed on their PC while squintin’,
There’s a new intern’s folder,
The real doc holder.
Be thankful she’s not like Bill Clinton’s…
What I planned was thought out, not a guess.
What I found was a wiring mess!
Since their costs were so high
All my plans went “bye-bye.”
They expect us to do more with less!
All my changes are gone? Boy, I swore!
Now that code, I’ll be writing once more!
Though it’s quite a disaster,
This time, ‘twill go faster:
I’ve already done it before.
On my logs, the same error I find.
Could this be how their backup’s designed?
Real help’s what I seek,
Not a registry tweek!
What’s their fix, “Out of sight, out of mind?”
