August 7, 2009 - But it WILL stay dry

All the sysadmins’ stomachs are churning
“The old fire suppression we’re spurning.
All the water, they say,
Will get carried away
By a roof over what could be burning."

They tried many a time to prevail on
All the managers. And yet they rail on.
Though they tried on and on,
The old system’s still gone.
So the sysadmins said, “Go to halon.”

August 6, 2009 - It's that IT touch, that's what it is

I had found that a simple technique ‘ll
Fix a terminal just like a geek ‘ll.
When a user once tried,
It’s still “Access Denied.”
She had found that her touch was quite fecal.

August 5, 2009 - You just never know what's going to matter

At the plant that made money machines,
I applied. Can I fit? “By all means!”
Without no sign of a chart
I could ID a part
By its stripes with its reds, blues and greens.

For the plant had a problem, it cites.
It kept QC up often for nights.
For what cause did I find?
It’s a girl colorblind.
I’m sure glad we don’t make traffic lights.

August 4, 2009 - Support, recalibrated

His receiver fell down from his shoulder
As the specialist wrote in his folder.
Seems the meter was wrong.
“Can you send it along
And we’ll make it all right with a Boulder?”
